  •  Make sure your hair is straight with no tangles before you start.
  • Take a section of hair. Divide it into 3 equal parts.
  • Cross the right section over the middle section, so now its in the middle.
  • Take a small section of hair, and add it to the left section.
  • Cross this section so now its the middle section.
  • Drop the right section of hair.
  • Pull another section (of the same size). This will become your new right section of hair.
  • Cross the new right section so its the middle section.
  • Take a small section of hair to add to the left section. Cross this over so it becomes the middle section of hair.
  • Drop the right section of hair.
  • Pull another section of hair (the same size). This will become the new right section of hair.
  • Cross it over so its the middle section.
  • Repeat until braid goes around head as far as desired.
  • Either bobby-pin this one last section so it stays together, or braid it (regular-style) and end it with a small hair band.
