To Do (12 left)
-
First, you will need cake mix, ingredients for the cake mix (eggs, oil, water, vanilla), confetti frosting, and food coloring.
-
Preheat the oven to whatever the box instructs you to.
-
Put the cake mix and its ingredients into a large mixing bowl, beat them on high for two minutes.
-
When the batter is smooth, seperate it evenly into three small bowls.
-
Decide what color you want each portion of batter to be, and dye it accordingly. Make sure not to put too much!
-
Mix the dye into each of the the batter bowls, so all the batter is evenly dyed.
-
Get a round pan, I used an 8" round; and pour each of the seperate batter bowls into it beside eachother, so each section is not mixed.
-
Once they are all in there, Take a small butter knife and swirl the dyed batter around. The batter should be swirled together so you can still tell each color is different.
-
Once you are satisfied with how it is swirled, put it in the oven for however long the box instructs you to.
-
After the cake is baked, let it cool for about an hour. You don't want to frost it until it is cool so the frosting won't melt off.
-
It's been an hour and the cake is cool to the touch! Open your confetti frosting and take a butter knife (or whatever you'd like to frost it with), and spread it evenly across the top. You can either put alot or a little.
-
Your cake is all done! Cut in and enjoy. The inside of the cake should be vibrant and swirled with all your colors!
