  •  Decide what kind of paper your are going to be writing: Definition, argumentative, etc.
  • Answer: what is the question being asked?
  • Pick a side/claim
  • Assert your position/claim
  • Sum up your claim/position in one (maybe two) sentences
  • Re-read your thesis statement, can you write enough on it? If yes...
  • Your done!
