  •  1. Hospital Paperwork - Registration card/health record or similar.
  • 2. Medicare Card and/or Private Health Insurance Card
  • 3. Birth Plan
  • 4. Phone/Charger/ Credit
  • 5. Camera/ Charger
  • 6. Lip Balm/ Paw Paw Ointment
  • 7. Hair Bands
  • 8. Thongs or Shoes - Some hospitals recommend closed in shoes. Check before packing.
  • 9. Socks - Your feet can get cold.
  • 10. Birthing Singlet/ T-shirt that you don’t plan on keeping - Once in active labour you will likely be put into a gown for easy access to monitor mum and baby.
  • 11. Heat Pack - Check before packing as most hospitals will have these
  • 12. Massage Oil
  • 13. Drinks - Gatorade/Powerade or Lemonade.
